2021 Competition
The resources on this page are generic for an ordinary year. We all know this is not an ordinary year. The requirements for the paper itself have not changed. Since the presentations will be virtual this year, there have been a few changes in presentation requirements and guidance. Please use these two documents:
- NMJAS 2021 Formatting Rules for Technical Papers
- NMJAS 2021 Zoom and PowerPoint Presentation Rules and Guidance
For students
Many students who compete also submit an entry in a science fair, although the Academy does not require that they do so. Entries in the paper competition, however, must report on the student's actual experiment or project. Our emphasis is on communication of your research.
Students: Before you begin writing your paper please read the Formatting Rules for Technical Papers. These formatting requirements are standard for publishing technical/scientific papers in professional journals.
