2026 Research Symposium – Registration is open!

The New Mexico Research Symposium is our annual conference with student presentations, a poster competition, and awards. The conference is geared to undergraduate and graduate students from New Mexico’s colleges and universities and to science teachers and faculty. NMRS is collaboratively organized by the NMSPSCoR and NMAS.

We are looking forward to your participation and to an exciting 2026 NM Research Symposium! Submit a poster, present your research, volunteer to judge or join us for lunch!

There is no cost, but attendees must register here

We still need judges

NMAS is recruiting volunteers to judge for the poster competition portion of the event from 11:30am to 12:45pm. Judges will be given a scoring rubric and instructions prior to the competition and are welcome to stay for the catered lunch that follows. To serve as a judge, please register using the registration link above. If you select “No” for “Are you submitting an abstract for the poster or oral session?,” then please select “Yes” for “Could you serve as a judge for the poster session?”
