The Outstanding STEM Teacher Award, given by the New Mexico Academy of Science, honors New Mexico science and math educators.
The Academy honors two outstanding educators each year at the annual NMAS meeting with a commemoration and a monetary award. Each winner and a guest are provided a hotel room, event registration and meal for the annual award ceremony.
Congratulations on your nomination! The nomination process includes the actual nomination and additional documentation from the nominee (below). A selection committee will review nominations after the deadline (October 17) and winners will be notified as soon as the selection is made. The award will be presented at the NMAS fall meeting, Saturday November 7.
